Members must be accpeted into at least one of the three divisions of FACES: Runway, Print, or Staff. However, members are not limited to one segment of the organization. Each applicant is required to fill out/turn in an official application. To be accepted as a member, the applicant must have a gpa of 2.0 on a 4.0 scale. Furthermore, members must maintain this gpa requirement at all times to be considered an active member of the Orlando Chapter of FACES. In addition, applicants and members must be a student enrolled at the University of Central Florida with an active PID (Personal Identification Number). Finally, all applicants will participate in an interview with the active President and/or Vice President before final acceptance of membership. Runway: Runway Models will be chosen on the basis of stage presence, runway potential and physical appearance. Candidates for the runway department will be given a minimum of four days of training/clinics before "trying out." The last day of intake will be the audition show at which candidates will perform what they learned during clinics. The judging panel will consist of the voting members of the active Executive Board. Print: Print Models will be chosen on the basis of physical appearance and photo ability. Candidates for the print department will participate in "trial" photo shoots during the week of intake. Candidates will be expected to convey a variety of looks while effectively taking direction from the Head of Photography, Co-Head of Photography, and the Photographer(s) on site. Staff: Staff Members will be chosen on the basis of qualifications for the division of work in which they are applying. (i.e. make-up, hair styling, fashion designing, photography, web-designer, etc.) Candidates are required to submit a resume and interview with the active Head of Staff and President.
